Thomas Meano And His Wife Volunteers In Their Community

Thomas Meano and his wife worked, and initially met, on the mission field at the Vineyard Church in Mission Viejo. Now they both serve the Lord in different ways but with the same goal in mind, reaching the lost and undone. Thomas Meano volunteers at the Mercy Warehouse; there he is able to help and offer support to the disadvantaged population by providing nutritious food, warm clothing, and solid furniture to those who need it most. The Mercy Warehouse has established a wonderful ministry for those in need in the community.

Thomas Meano and his wife are members of the Vineyard Community Church which is located in Laguna Niguel, California. His wife works for their church's children's ministry on a part-time basis. With this type of work she is able to utilize her amazingly creative abilities to capture the attention of the children and get them interested and excited about school, the church, and the Word of God. She teaches them how to enjoy and learn from the lessons taught in the Bible. Thomas Meano volunteers at his church on Wednesday nights to serve meals and also as part of the staff of the church's crisis prayer line. As he and a team of church member's, who have chosen to volunteer, serve warm, low cost meals to people before the church's Wednesday evening classes, they are hoping the meal will prepare the people to receive the vital information that will be taught, discussed, and shared in the classes provided. With his work with the crisis prayer line, he has had the pleasure of volunteering to actually "call back" those who have requested someone to get back in touch with them in the near future. This opportunity allows Thomas Meano to get more intimate with the people who have immediate needs through basic lay Christian Counseling.
